Limlak Sacco is looking for a qualified accountant to be responsible for the Sacco’s finance department.
1. Responsible for back-office transactions posting and periodic bank and other accounts reconciliations in a timely manner
2. Preparation of budgets and cash flow projections
3. Responsible for creation of corporate plans and strategies for short and long-term financial benefit of the Sacco
4. Conducting detailed analysis, insights and predictions and give insights on investments
5. Responsible for extraction of trail balance, preparation of financial reports, management accounts, and other reports
6. Advising the board and management on all financial matters
7. Liaison with both internal and external auditors on audit controls and act on management letters and closure of all audit queries
8. Filling of statutory returns on time (NSSF, Pension, NSSF, PAYE, KRA and SASRA etc).
9. Ensuring the society’s assets and liabilities are recorded accurately and safeguarded
10. Responsible for management of staff payroll in an effective and efficient manner
11. Responsible for maintaining asset register and safeguarding Sacco assets
A minimum of 3 years’ experience (preferably in the DT Sacco subsector)

Responsible for business growth and profitability in the allocated zone through new member recruitment, deposit and credit growth whilst maintaining quality and positive relations with members and other stakeholders
1. Ensure continuous growth of Limlak market share in the allocated zone through continuous engagement and customer success
2. Responsible for growth in shares and deposits levels in the allocated zones through development of cutting-edge strategies, initiatives and activities in line with the specific dynamics of the allocated zone guided by the overall Limlak business strategy
3. Ensure growth in quality credit portfolio through compliance with the credit policy and relationship management. The job holder is responsible for the entire credit process from attending to credit queries, credit/business appraisals, advice, risk analysis, recommending credit application through clear credit proposals, security perfection, documentation, disbursement and timely follow-ups and collections
4. Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and other ad hoc credit reports, etc as required in respect to allocated zone and portfolio as well as advising the board and management on the same
5. Deliver the best customer experience whilst maintaining operational efficiency through coordination with the other staff/departments so as to ensure overall corporate objectives is met [the job holder is expected to liaise with colleagues so as to ensure balanced program for office and field activities]
6. Supervise sales representatives and any other resource (eg interns) that may be allocated to the zone so as to enhance personal engagement, productivity and growth in the organization
i. University degree, preferably in business

OFFICE ASST VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Responsible for range of office support activities so as to ensure Limlak Sacco is running efficiently. Such activities may include receiving guests, hospitality, cleaning facilities, attending to phones, attending to enquiries and performing routine clerical duties, etc as enumerated in the key accountabilities
1. Bear overall responsibility for the first impression of the organization through creation of the preferred public image by
all physical guests
2. Ensuring clean and neat environment of the office and related facilities
3. Running official errands in and outside the office workspace e.g., to regulators, banks and other partners and stakeholders, post-office etc. as the case may be
4. Be in charge of safe and secure registry system including documentation, filling and retrieval of records
5. Answer telephone calls and deliver messages thereof whilst operating basic office such as camera, printers, photocopiers and scanners for various officer needs
6. Manage stock of consumables and other supplies whilst observing established re-order levels at all times
7. Responsible for timely and hospitality services to stakeholders as scheduled so as to keep them comfortable while discharging their official duties
8. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties such as data entry, etc. as may be assigned from time to time
